GENERAL BUSINESS:
John moved a Vote of Thanks to the Secretary for extra work in regard to the Champs sampler.
Ian Crook - Bill from Itel (Provider for Website) $260.00 from last February - Ian has managed to have this rescinded - Annual posting fee will be $260 per year, should receive a bill in February for $120 register the name for the next 2 years - up till now we have paid nothing for the site.
Results not many coming through.
Eureka Results were missing the Junior Gospel.
Festival dates for 2006 need to come through so that they can be entered on the site.
Champs site is averaging 5 hits per day.
Ian away in WA from end of October.
Clubs who have websites are welcome to put an ad on site - no charge - we are not using up all our allocated space.
Ticket Prices - to remain the same as 2004
Brooke Hasted - During the meeting Dell phoned Brooke on her mobile - Barb to contact Brooke now that we have established contact again.
Phone calls - Is there a need to place a cap on phone calls per month - detailed accounts still not being received for some numbers - check to see if Telstra can re-issue detailed accounts for these numbers.
Gympie - expenses this year will be minimal
Tamworth - Paul is seeking extra work in Tamworth for the showcase.
Barbara - CD Sampler - not a great response to the Sampler - discussion followed as to how to get artists - Barb has some thoughts as to how to accommodate our winner from 2004.
Grant - not successful - approach being made to Brisbane City Council for continuous or yearly grant - $5000 to $6000 to cover cost of backing band with a review yearly.
Photocopier - confusion over the arrangements with the copier - it is only on a lease basis - we pay a lease fee each month and a fee for number of copies used - need to look into this further,
Certificates - Paul to co-ordinate with Barb - where they are to be printed etc.

Blue Cards - applications available from Justice Department - applicants from volunteer organisation can apply free of charge.
Head Sets - Need to organise these again as they worked well last year. Does anyone know of a company that may donate them for the weekend.
Banner - need a second banner on stage to even it our - hold off on this in case the council comes on board.
Paul to ring David Jenkins at Ellaways - re requirements for this year.
Spartek - Dell inquired if this sponsorship has been organised - JD to follow up
Southern Cross Photographics, Family Hotel (Tamworth) and Urban Country - Barb to follow up these sponsorships.
Mayor's Rep to be invited - Barb to handle this with letter to Council.
Jim Mitchell Award - think about who should be the recipient of this award for 2005.
List of Judges and expenses explained - permission sought to pay for the airfares so that we can obtain the best prices for these.
Friday night - should we go ahead - artists volunteering the services - Mark Tempany, Alison Hams, Fred Hams, Nicki Gillis and Deniese Morrison. Suggestions of drawcard - John McSweeney, Terry Scott & the warriors and others. Decision is that we have to take a risk some time.
